Premier Cru Champagne
RECOGNITION OF AN EXCEPTIONAL TERROIR
OUR TERROIRS:
Our vineyards in the Côte des Blancs
and the Montagne de Reims, classified as Premier Cru
When we talk about a Premier Cru Champagne, we're talking about our terroir. Indeed, the Champagne Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) established a classification of the best soils in 1927. Of the more than 300 villages in the Champagne region, only 17 were classified as Grand Cru, and 44 were awarded the Premier Cru designation. Many of these villages are located in the Côte des Blancs, where 95% of the vineyards are planted with the Chardonnay grape. The limestone outcrops found in these villages give the wine remarkable quality. When Chardonnay is described with mineral or floral notes, this is partly due to the nature of the soil. The village of Vertus, located south of the Côte des Blancs, was classified as Premier Cru, guaranteeing the quality of its vineyards.

our production
Premier cru champagne
The Premier Cru designation is awarded when the wine is produced in a classified village. This is the case for all our champagne cuvées:
-
Blanc de Blancs is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grown on our terroir.
-
Tradition is made from a blend of 2 grape varieties from our vineyards: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
-
Absolu is a non dosed Champagne. It contains no added sugar and reflects our commitment to greater naturalness. The quality of the sparkling winemaking process and the advancements we have made allow us to develop a wine distinguished by its finesse and purity.
-
Rosé is the result of blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The winemaking process and production secrets give this rosé wine its fruity notes and elegance.
-
Grande Réserve is made from grapes all harvested in the same year. It is the mark of an exceptional harvest, an extraordinary wine from a great year, officially awarded only on rare occasions.

The desire to promote
a remarkable terroir
It is to share and work together to promote our Premier Cru Champagne that Maison A² Sanchez joined the Goutte d'Or group. This is a union of winegrowers responsible for the production and aging of our Champagnes. Goutte d'Or allows us to benefit from the tools of our ancestors, which are combined with current technological advancements to remain at the forefront of progress. Goutte d'Or enables the pooling of expertise and resources that we would not have by working alone. Our shared desire to explain and advise, along with the quality of our production, allows us to showcase our terroir. Our house has thus built a clientele of individuals and professionals throughout France. We have also developed the capacity to fulfill large orders for our Champagne wines. Today, a new generation, proud of its terroir, perpetuates our commitment to producing quality Champagne.
